Member selected by the Zilla Parishad of Zilla Uttarkashi - 1

Members nominated by the State Government - 10



Chairman and Vice chairman of the committee is nominated by the State Government.
Gazette Order
Under The Uttar Pradesh Act No. 30/1948 the administration of Kedarnath was included in the Badarinath Temple Act no. 16,1939 and it came to be called Shri Badarinath and Shri Kedarnath Mandir Act. The same Samiti (committee) now governs both the temples. Further amended in 2002 after the formation of the 27th state of union of India, the act provides provisions of increasing the number of members, one vice chairman and adding Government officials to the committee.
